Why were they standing so close together? Seems to me they all need a brain implant more than anger managementtherapy….

In my mind, fishing is just an excuse to go somewhere and vegetate…also a good way to upset your spouse or anyone who cleans up after you!

A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work anytime.

fishing…there are many places where we are over-fishing. they say blame demand. also, some fishing shows on tv seemed too staged, especially the ones where the fisherman is fishing from his private pond and stocked with his own fish, and he needs a state of the art boat and equipment.

It doesn’t hurt that the guy with the scissors owns stock in a fishing equipment supply company… ‘Cut that out… yeah, like that…’

I used to enjoy Salmon fishing in the upper Skagit River until, that is, I shared the shallows with a bear as big as a bus! Now I stick to local lakes and fish for bass and pan fish.

Wiley is not only very, very funny, but what an artist! Is there a better one among today’s cartoonists, or those of any era?

The best fishing hole ever. Really it is just one hole but boy is the fishing good.Reminds me of those fishermen who rush across the lake just toss lines into to your area when you catch one fish.Bass Fishermen do that a lot. That’s why they have to have a boat with two 300 HP engines to navigate a small lake.Cut the ties boys. Re-knot and re-bait and become the master baiter. (Could not resist)

@vwdualnomand: most of the anglers I know are catch and release…only the pier fisherman keep what they catch.

jahoody, it’s true in any blood sport. Eat what you kill or don’t kill it. Jimmy Carter’s mom made him eat a robin he shot with his B.B. gun…..That’s the way it should be. Any good hunter will agree….

The miser’s idea of Hell (Heaven to all the other inhabitants, in their golden robes and halos): nobody wanting to exchange goods for his gold, silver, and platinum piles.“Holy Schlamoly! You mean NOBODY wants to exchange my beautiful precious metals for goods?”“Why? Everything’s free here. Besides, why should we buy your so-called precious metals when we can create our own?” (Laughter, tears of bliss)!
