I think this was supposed to be another one of those “Slim is so stupid // How stupid is he?” moments..Imagine not knowing that her boyfriend is seven time zones away..But it sure looks like the readers ain’t fallin’ for it!
That said, I like Sunday’s Terry and Corky sequence..Someone else said, and I second the motion: Why not a Terry and Corky arc? Struggling small business owner and his underpaid, overworked hired hand..An arc about the diner would be just so delicious!.How about it, Jim?
Gretchen was such a sweet toddler. What happened to her in the last 30 + years? She is so inconsiderate and self-absorbed, bossy to her father and acts like a teenager. She’s old enough to have a thirteen year old child of her own. Grow up Gretchen. I’m disappointed in you.
