Girl: So, Friday. My dad's boss let everyone go home early. Frazz: Nice boss! Girl: Yeah, yeah. Daddy was thrilled. but here's the catch: He gets home all happy well after I'm into a big rant about how my day was so long! It ruined a good snit. Is this how it's going to be? Is life going to, one by one, deny me all of my good rants? Frazz: That's the last thing I would complain about. Girl: That's because it's all you would have left!

My daughter got home early on Friday because it was a Jewish holiday in Beverly Hills. Also traffic was lighter. There are more Jewish workday holidays than Christian weekday holidays, so sometimes it’s nice to work in Beverly HIlls.

Poor kid, she’ll grow up to be the type to complain that the boss let them out of work early and will be upset that she didn’t know ahead of time so she could have planned something for that afternoon.
