MARY WORTH: Mary is grieving over the loss of her husband, but she still has Jeff. Why don’t they have a flashback about her children and/or grandchildren and where are they?
APT3G: Does Cole expect LuAnn to adopt Martie in the eventof his passing?
Phantom: Does P. keep a set of civies stowed away some place for sudden trips?
Mark Trail: I hope he is going to take Frankie’s rifle with him or is he going to play macho man and take “Big Mike” with his bare hands?
Rex Moran: With all his money and his young wife all Milton can worry about is the competition? Rex better treat him for something other than Alzheimer’s.
Mary Worth: Why does she have to go swimming to wash away her tears? Won’t a face cloth do the job and who gave her the black eyes? I hope that this is the end.
PHANTOM: Yep. P. spent most of the long “Lucha Libre” story in his civilian outfit. Here’s a link to an April 2012 strip showing P. on an airplane in his civies (talking to Lee Falk!).http://www.ipcomics.net/classics-index/strips.htm?list=D235
Rex Morgan – Being desperate calls for desperate action. Reminds me of folks who wear copper bracelets to treat their arthritis. When it hurts that much, you’re willing to try anything. Even snake oil. Phantom – Thanks for the explanation about weapons in the luggage compartment.Judge Parker – Panel 2 – He is not happy with her meddling into his writing.Mandrake – Final showdown? Then why does Cobra keep showing up?Mark Trail – Is Mark going to call the cops first?
Rex Morgan – If he has health insurance, he would have signed permission for them to access medical records, and an employer might have access, but how would a competitor find out? Anyway, Milton owns his own company, doesn’t he? So there should have been no problem with confidentiality. Discussing your health problems in an informal setting, over drinks, sounds safer?Until recently, there were no studies done regarding the safety or efficacy of “natural” supplements, and strenghtand purity could vary widely.I think that’s Heather overhearing this conversation so she may have something to say about the way he’s been behaving. If he truly has Alzheimer’s, I think competitors might have noticed it.
Judge Parker – Alan’s reaction to the bad review shows he doesn’t take criticism well. But the lady is probably right. Open with some action to draw people in. There isn’t much room for exposition in a film.
