Mandrake On July 8, when the interruption of the HoJo story began, Lothar and his girlfriend Karma were shown on a balcony overlooking greenery. Perhaps this is some kind of deck or balcony at Xanadu.Sally Forth Arye, “Zima” was a bottled, carbonated, clear alcoholic beverage that used to be marketed as an alternative to beer. It hasn’t been available here in the States since 2008. I had one once, and it was disgusting. Given Ted’s penchant for nostalgia, Zima would be the perfect drink for him.
REX MORGAN: Now I am curious as to what he was taking? I’d be inclined to try ginkgo biloba (per WebMD).PHANTOM: Apparently devil sensed the WWI aeronaut was not of this world (a ghost). Mandrake – Thanks Jan for sending me back to July 8. They seem to just be introducing the characters. Lothar and Karma are on a balcony wearing togas, but Mandrake isn’t there. Throughout the telling about his youth, people are wearing classical garb. When Mandrake leaves the College of Magic, he’s dressed like a British explorer. Today they are dressed in modern clothes, sitting in deck chairs. That does look like Karma that he’s talking to.A commenter at the other site reported that Fred Fredericks has announced his retirement in July and that the strip would go into reruns in September. So I’m wondering if they will ever finish the story about Hojo and the people that are stealing personalities.Where are all the young cartoonists? Staton and Curtis (Dick Tracy) can’t save every strip.
REX- “Herbal supp”- things have changed since the 60’s &70’s— hippie days- last 40 yrs. we have so many witchdr.‘s (phoney’s) trying to sell the public cure -alls for everthing whether you need it or not!!!!!!! TV, newspapers,computer links etc., & to this day millions fall for it , LondonUS and every country.. Hope Rex gets further tests for Miltysoooooooo he can figure out his basic internal prob………

Mary Worth: If I remember correctly, this is Mary’ first day at the spa and look what she has accomplished. She has solved her first case. Do this mean that her stay here is over or is she going to help more people there? She really is a fast worker.Mark Trail: This is a different cooler than the one in Stalag 17. I wonder what plan of escape Mark has formulated while cooling his heels (and body).Phantom: They are finally getting around to Devil’s reaction a month, LOL. ago. To bad he can’t talk.
