“Liberty Island” isn’t “connected” to the immigration compound, and bigotry was behind a lot of those early rejections against Irish, Italians, Germans, and other “non-Engllish-sounding” folks, including changing many folks’ names to make them more “American”.
Also, considering the trigger finger is shorter than the middle finger, and her automatic service pistol is in the holster anyway, don’t think her finger is actually on the trigger. That would be the anti-immigration folks who say “I got mine, you can’t come in!”
