Wish I had a link for this: Lennie Peterson in The Big Picture mentions that he heard how a dog food company recently sent out a free case of dog food to a customer that mentioned their product. Lennie then extols the virtues of the King brand trombone he plays and explains that he certainly wouldn’t expect the King trombone company to send him any freebies just for mentioning their product! His guitarist then pokes his head in the frame and mentions Fender guitars! Loved that strip!
