At times I thought the foreign press were more gaga than the local British press. Bizarre: Mostly from long established republics but love monarchy.

Please note, she is properly married and is Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge. She stopped being Kate Middleton the day she got married. A little respect for ALL of us who choose to get married , please.

I got my Royal Baby news from Hardball with Chris Matthews last night and I was almost falling out of my chair laughing.He had some reporters who were really into it. One NBC reporter named Michelle talked about a study of chimps who, when showed ordinary other chimps and high status chimps preferred to watch the high status chimps. This prompted another reporter to wonder if she was going to be confined to the Tower for comparing the Royals to a bunch of chimps.I missed the first few minutes but watched the rest of the hour. Funny stuff.
