Please forgive, but I am a bit confused. If the depiction of Alien-like creatures dressed as Hispanics illegaling scaling the border fence is rascist, how would you describe a depiction of Hispanics dressed as Hispanics illegaling scaling the border fence? (10,000,000+ managed to get into the country somehow; Star Trek transporter beam? Wrong turn at Mexicali? Guests of Sigourney Weaver (and/or Macarena instructors) at various Democratic National Conventions?)
I see the whole point here as a pun on the word “alien.” The quality of the pun itself not being an issue here (groan), I fail to see the rascism.
Oh now it makes perfect sense. That bad bad Mr. Garcia should have drawn his Aliens with hunting caps crawling over a moose illuminated by the headlamps of a pickup truck with Montana tags and a Tea Party bumper sticker.
It’s nice to know that the P.C. Police are able to ferret out such well disguised racism masquerading as an innocent online comic strip.
