You know, I’d love to see a list of all the offically nominated and voted SJotY winners (‘cause face it, it’s easy to award the post career ones, sins don’t stay hidden forever, but the guys who bring it down on themsleves while playing are the scariest)
….MLB and it’s lacky,ESPN,are blaming the union for this drug enhancement mess…but even if we forget about them looking the other way during the McGwire/Sosa homerun derby(though they had special homerun balls,Tv and radio campaigns,etc.)…
…one has to think….Pete Rose is banned for life….Mark McGwire is a batting coach..Hypocrites!If I didn’t believe this was all orchestrated by the Yankees to get out of A-Hole’s contract..I would believe that MLB is to the point of Bad press is better than no press.
Baseball,the greatest game on Earth has been reduced my the owners(and to a lesser extent,the players),to a side show….
It should not be forgotten that Shoeless Joe went to court and was found “Not Guilty”, if he existed in today’s society he would not have missed a single game. The despotic Landis would not have the power to unilaterally destroy lives.I would not have protested too much regarding Ed Cicotte though.
