She was walking along, and instead of saying “SPARKLES!” she suddenly remembered her favorite movie serial character from the forties, shouted “JUNGLE JIM!” and… well….

Unicorns can change size, making themselves smaller or larger at will. Maybe Marigold’s embarrassment (at being seen by Phoebe in that un-flattering situation) “short-circuited” the concentration she needed in order to shrink herself down to escape…

I’m guessing she used telekinesis to raise it up and get inside, but now her horn is on the wrong side of it to raise it up.

Reminds me of those annoying puzzles where you have to the odd shaped item out of the metal bars (odd being in this case something with a sharp pointy bit)
