Good morning, Vagabonds. Yesterday was the second day in a row I was too tired to go out. However, we are ready for the kitchen painter today – I just hope the painter will keep his appointment.
I must be sure I have enough energy for the rest of the week. Wednesday I need to do food shopping and in the evening there’s a Bukharian concert in a park in Queens, NY. I must bring my rollator there even if I must carry it down my subway station’sstairs.
Thurs. I have an appointment and Friday I will finally see my pulmonologist.
Good morning good people..The body just fell down dead on “Matlock”, and it’s kind’a gray outside, isolated showers by the CH 3 weather..The computer is being a pain in the a__.Take it easy Slim and Arye, take good care of yourselves..And good day to all..ttfn
It rained almost all day yesterday, and the humidity level is still up at 65% outside/58% inside. Nasty. Somehow even with all windows wide open, the temperature inside the house is still at 80 even though the outside temp is less than 75. Oh well, the fresh air tastes good and the house always smells better when we can open up. (Not that it is ever that bad – except maybe right after Pinto uses the litter box.)
I see an ad all over GoComics for their new mobile app. Can you imagine trying to read Sunday’s Annie on the screen of a smart phone? It’s bad enough when I can zoom on my 17" monitor!
That humidity is a killer, Jan especially when you’re not used to it. It’s like when we visit the kids in Raleigh, and can’t breathe after getting off the plane. That’s why we go in early Spring or later in Autumn. But, you don’t have too much of a choice. Must be a very unusual weather pattern for you to get that much moisture!
Arye, I get tired just reading of the places you have to go! Good for you!!!!!
Lake Ontario is calm today, sunny & 80’s- goin’ push the little motorboat in and go out couple miles, shut her down and read my next book James patterson of course "3RD DEGREE’ another of the series of THE WOMENS MURDER CLUB- talk to ya’ll 2-morrow
Sweetbill, I bought the first book in the “Womens Murder Club” series the other day. I haven’t read it yet, but it is next after I finish the first in the series of “Walt Longmire” stories (“Cold Dish”). I find that one very well written. Craig Johnson is superb at painting word pictures, the banter between the characters and the title character’s observations on what is going on around him make it a great story so far. They did a pretty good job of translating the books into the TV series. The flavor of the book is still there, as it is for the main character and his closest associates. That’s rare these days.Rita, I don’t know if you have watched the “Longmire” series, but it is set in your neck of the woods (almost – Northern Wyoming). It’s on A&E, and just finished up its second season for the summer, but you can see episodes online.

Good morning to the Vagabonds.
Hope everyone had a good night’s sleep. I guess we are going to have a rainy day with off and on showers. How much we will get remains to be seen.

The painting of the kitchen was postponed until next Tuesday – a breather for me.
