Walmart pays badly and then expects the taxpayers to subsidize their workers who get zero benefits. Never, ever shop at Walmart

I was given a $25 gift certificate to Wal-Mart. Never used it. I suppose I should have used it or given it to someone else just to impact their bottom line an iota’s worth.

I don’t do business with WalMart. I refuse to do business with people who traffic in slavery and indentured servitude.

The stores in our town took out the summer clothes and swimming pools etc. and had the back to school stuff out the week after the 4th of July, when there were still two bloody months of summer left! I told the Fred Meyer manager they ought to just devote one set of aisles to seasonal fare and keep the Christmas, Easter, etc. crap out all year and get it over with. Last year they had the Christmas stuff up before Halloween!

Walmart is the ultimate conservative idealcheat the workers as much as possible to maximize profits for the CEO and the upper echelon.

Considering the price of things, you’re not the only one who hates back-to-school shopping Heart.

Wal-Mart is the Antichrist. Those cheap school supplies come at a horrendous cost both to the environment and to American labor.

By the time school actually starts, the aisles will be full of Halloween candy, so there’s that to look forward to.

DampWaffle, you are so right! I needed a horn of plenty last Thanksgiving but I waited til the week before Thanksgiving to go look for one-couldn’t find a picture of one. I finally snagged one around Memorial Day. Looking forward to Christmas carols on Columbus Day!

I’ll echo the sentiment from the old comments that Wal-Mart sucks and extend that to all big businesses under capitalism. Did Amazon surpass WM in sucking? Hard to say.
