Me thinks they won’t make much money from that sale.

    Good Morning All

Buying a walker that has been used by any of these clumsy behemoths is like buying a used bike helmet, or a second-hand child safety seat for the car….

It MIGHT be perfectly good… or it MIGHT have sustained invisible damage ….The internal stresses and micro-cracking could make it crumble the next time it has to bear any weight.

And Good Morning to you, Leaky…. and to all.

I’m up bright and early for garage sales ( cough ) but I think I’ll skip the Pennys’.

At least till tomorrow, obviously. But probably forever…. Those wine bottles are cheaper at the liquor store…. and they’re still full of wine.

And yeah…. happy trails, Marg.I’d say “Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do,” but that gives you way too much leeway. So just remember, the better you behave, the sooner we might see you again.

Forgot to say…. @ PacoP …. 2 out of 3 look correct to me.

The middle one points to Burl but is probably Joy’s words.

The walker is the most expensive item, probably swiped from MA?? After all she doesn’t need it yet she is still in bed from throwing out her back cleaning out the gutters again. I agree the wine is cheaper with the wine in it 2 buck chuck…..

Nothing interesting at their sale; I’ve bought some good stuff (one was a solid brass eagle statue from a neighbor) that is on the high shelf over my pantry now.

The size 10 confused me a little at first, but a search shows that “Easy Spirit” is shoes from Sears. I must admit that I’m only 10 (not 8) because waist still is 30.

These are the kind of garage sales we do a “drive by” on! Please, if you are going to have a sale: Do not write your sign in ballpoint pen on a piece of paper. I can’t read it going 40mph. Don’t spread your clothes in piles on the driveway, I’m not going to dig. Wash dishes, pots etc. I won’t buy someting with food still on it! Dust furniture, Scrub toys. I’m just sayin’

Good googly moogly! A Pennys yard sale is like a train wreck, you can’t help but look, but it turns your stomach! Sorry I’m so late today, folks, was unavoidably delayed.

I just hope they got the deodorant stains out of any clothes they are selling. Oh wait, that’s not deodorant stains is it?

$5 for an old Daniel Steel novel? That’s highway robbery. 50 cents for a hardcover would be more like it in a yard sale, and even then it would have to be a fan who missed that particular novel.

I don’t normally touch things at rummage or garage sales unless I’m consider buying it. I used to go to many more when I had Cuddles, just because she LOVED seeing new people. Places with Crowds and applause were her favorites (like the rodeo I attended with one son and his family).
