    Guillotine was intended as a more humane method of executing condemned prisoners. Leopold using it for torture seems silly since it should cause pain for such a short period of time..A shotgun shot to the back of the head should be more humane but bloodier.Piano wire to replace a blade would be more efficient if you had your heart set of beheading.A pure nitrogen atmosphere to painlessly kill by asphyxiation would be the cleanest and most painless of all, if you had your heart set on killing someone.

    Besides the guillotine being a quick way to end someone’s misery, why would Leo have it remotely operated, causing him to miss the expressions on the faces of his victims?
