The idiots in the GOP need to be swallowed, maybe then US politics can move towards some at least semblance of sanity.

This is a great cartoon. Most of us little fish have no label at all, but recognize progress when we see it.

More nonsense made up war on women, blacks, minorities in general that the Left has to instigate to keep tensions alive. Oh, and I see Latinos too! Last time I checked, the Left kept calling Zimmerman a WHITE Hispanic JUST to keep their race war going. Anyone falling for this are just people with their heads in the sand! Way to keep Trolling, Luckovich!

??? Where is this, Ansonia? In an English-Klingon dictionary? In any English dictionary you’ll find Inexorably: relentlessly, inevitably, remorselessly.

These groups ARE victims, Ansonia. Victims of greed, ignorance, racism, and hate. Why should they find attractive the GOP, a political party hell-bent on continuing to make them victims for as long as possible. Wake up – the train to the future is boarding while you’re fast asleep in your cozy past.

Aww, the poor little great white shark feels threatened. Why don’t those inferior fish realize that they are the great white shark’s natural prey? If they don’t like it, they can try to become great white shark’s themselves.Of course someone who is born into the working class has about as much chance of becoming a billionaire as they have of becoming a great white shark. But the GOP will continue trying to convince them to vote against their own interests, on the non-existant chance that they might become sharks. If they won’t go along, Plan B is vote suppression.

The GOP, and yes, too many Democrats as well, have re-written the statement to read’ “Of the corporation, BY the corporation, and FOR the corporation”, and SCOTUS, in “Citizens United” put their blessing on it.

I am NOT “anti-business” I’ve run successful ones, and worked for some, despite a federal career. I’ve also btw, in that federal capacity, and now in a planning capacity for a smaller jurisdiction, MANY TIMES done things that LEGITIMATELY BENEFIT “corporate” or business interests.

It is the unrestrained giveaways, thefts, and outright illegalities that Congress has in turned changed laws to sanction, that have turned not just the GOP, but too many in all parties (even “Libertarians” and Independents) to bend and bow to the corporate kings of “industry”.(now shipped to China, Viet Nam, South Korea, Taiwan, Israel, Mexico, and yes, even our friends to the north in Canadian auto plants.

Mooch! STOP the Welfare Queen CRAP! Why do you morons keep insisting the multi-millionaires and their ilk NEED YOUR HELP to stay in office?! GOP doesn’t help the middle class, whatever color they are. And you (the rant Right) aren’t going to get richer buying their propaganda. Stop watching Faux News. “They continually tell the low information voter that Republicans don’t care about them. A lie told often enough is eventually believed.”.And who would know more about a lie often repeated than a member of the GOP?The Republicans have been doing their best (or should I say “worst”) to divide this country for the last 50 years with lies and racism, and the effort now to make the Democrats, the Big Tent Party, look like the divisive one is both hypocritical and pathetic. As Unions put together many small workers to overcome the greed and selfishness of the big bosses, the many small groups that comprise the Democratic Party will work together to make sure everyone’s rights are looked out for.The rights of the GOP voters will not be trampled, but they will have to accept that everyone has rights, not just them. They can work to enact a U S of A that respects everyone, or they will be replaced with politicians who will.Get on board or get out of the way.

I’ve heard exactly NO ONE make any argument for violence over the Zimmerman decision. You must be hearing voices in your head again.Do the voices echo in the emptiness?

“the only thing they have in common is morals.”.Seriously? You’re holding up the GOP as the party of “Morals”?Show me the morality of talking about “legitimate rape.” Or referring to Latinos as “wetbacks.” Or gay people as “fags.” Show me the morality of attempting to deny food stamps to hungry mothers and children, or voting for more weapons but less education. As far as supporting traditional marriage, I notice an awful lot of your party leaders and spokespeople don’t worry too much about their own “traditional” marriages.“Morals”? The GOP uses the word shamelessly, and abuses its meaning just as often.

But you acknowledge the emptiness of your head.Fair enough.I checked the site you noted; a lot of stupid angry comments from people impotent with rage; childish but meaningless.Tell me there haven’t been equally ignorant, stupid and threatening comments from your side when some decision came down that your ilk didn’t like. But that would put your side in a bad light, and you’d never admit to that.Yes, the threats against the jury were vile, and as a Liberal I denounce those making the threats and call them fools. I’m not happy about the verdict, but blaming the jury isn’t the answer.Would you criticize your side when they behave like arrogant spoiled children?I doubt it. Your arrogance, and that of your side, wouldn’t allow it.

Ain’t that the sorry truth? How holy the right-wingers see themselves, and how far from the truth they wander. One of my (least) favorite GOP quotes from the last election was, “Obama will lead in the early hours of the voting, but Romney will win when the people who work get off and go to vote.”The arrogance was beyond nauseating.

Omnius’ comment didn’t start this; it was your interpretation of his (her?) comment that started this.I often disagree with Omnius, not so much for his thoughts as his often inelegant way of expressing them, which I find over-the-top and inflammatory. But it was you who connected his comments to threats about the Zimmerman verdict, not anything he said.Don’t try blaming others for your own actions, that’s just too GOP.

Obama’s promises re: the environment have not been fulfilled, that is true.It couldn’t have anything to do with an obstructionist Congress, could it?But at least you’re acknowledging that the seas are rising and the Earth is ailing, which puts you one rung higher on the ladder than most of your conservative brethren.

“Democrats are generous with other people’s money.”.Hey, pal, I pay taxes, too, so some of that money is mine, and I’d sure-as-heck rather see it spent on social programs than tax give-aways to the rich or more weapons systems that we don’t need. You conservs have to quit acting like it’s just your money getting spent. It’s everyone’s taxes (hey, many Liberals have real jobs, what a shock!), and since you probably have no problems with utilizing the products of those taxes (I assume you drive on streets and plan on collecting Social Security and using Medicare), it’s more than just a little hypocritical on your part to act like taxation and spending shouldn’t affect you.Grow up and get on board. Taxes are the price of living in a progressive and forward-moving country. End taxation and we’re a third-world country in no time.

I sort of like the illustration of a mindless collective of Balkanized groups, who are united only by their desires that the government give them something, at the expense of others. Yes, tyranny will swallow everyone, not just the GOP. The mindless Balkanization of America will envelop us all.
