Statesmanship entails choosing what will go well and avoiding what will not. Politics entails claiming responsibility for what goes well and avoiding blame for what does not. Rolling down the hill is much easier than rolling up the hill.

That’s the fallacy of democracy/makority rule: weare all stuck with the results of elections decidsed by the 50% plus one vote of the 27% of eligible voters who actually waste their timetrying to pick the lesser/least of two or more evils. They ain’t no sech a thaing! Danae ispreferable to the lot of ’em!

So is “Whatever was…was” and “Whatever will be…will be”?That would be logical.

Also excellent for insane mayoral candidates…gee, out of millions who would need some idiot narcissistic?
