Uh, actually Manning gave up “military” secrets, Snowden gave up “civilian” secrets, that weren’t really all that “secret” to any of the “bad guys”. Remember folks, the “War on Terror”, like the “War on Drugs”, are actually civilian operations, that DO waste our tax dollars almost as effectively as the Pentagon.
Interesting that the Pentagon (actually contractors) have used our credit cards, like to build a totally unnecessary “command center” in Afghanistan, that not a single field officer, or general, wanted. Yes, like Snowden, those calls in the Pentagon were NOT made by “military” folks, but by civilians either in government, or civilian employ.
With regard to Pogo, contractors in the Military Industrial Complex, can indeed say, “We have met the enemy, and he is US!” Don’t forget that is where Snowden was employed.

Look carefully and you’ll see that what he exposed is secrets our government is trying to keep from US. The Russians already know that stuff.
