Mr. Staton and Mr. Curtis most likely have a lot of this story already composed…..we would do well to simply enjoy the ride because this tale is not being made up as it goes along.

This is off-topic, but I’m just wondering….is anybody else having trouble viewing their Recent Comments page? All my comments are squished together into one line. I’ve sent messages to GoComics, but they haven’t resolved it. Said to clear my cache, but that didn’t do any good.

So there you go: It’s not the drilling that’s the issue; it’s the “strongarm methods” that are at issue. The “f-word” that seems to upset everyone is not the point.

What I don’t get is, if “someone” (Hy Pressure) is strongarming drilling rights for the Molemann Mineral Company, how can they not know who the culprit is? And if it’s not for Molemann, why is Sweetrose concerned? Sheer industry-wide conscience?

I think Mr. Sweetrose has a cousin named Gilbert Gottfried.

Moleman Mineral Co. might be a competitor of the company that is using The Apparatus to acquire drilling rights.

Will Harvey Elder be making an appearance, maybe as head of Molemann ;)

It is possible that The Apparatus is the company that Moleman Mineral sub-contracted to purchase drilling rights. That setup will give Moleman deniability.

Greetings fellow Dick Tracy fans. I was wonderering, did you guys like the 1990 Dick Tracy movie starring Warren Beatty, Al Pacino, Dustin Hoffman and Madonna? Did the movie do our favorite detective justice? Also, did you guys like that classic Dick Tracy cartoon where Tracy asked Mr. Magoo to help infiltrate Pruneface’s gang with all the classic villians/ Priceless!

And speaking of classic Dick Tracy villians, I cant wait till they bring back B.B. Eyes, Mrs. Flattop, Mumbles and Blackjack to the storyline!

I always thought Jack Lord in his Hawaii Five-0 days would be a great live-action Tracy. In fact, in one episode his sidekick Danno Williams is drawn into a comic strip as bait for a comics-obsessed killer. The drawings of “Officer Danny” resemble Tracy-style art.
