Phantom: When did the kid get a parachute and was he ever briefed on how to use it?Rex Morgan: What did Rex say to make them ask if he was a doctor and what is a 10-4? is it the same as DOA?Mary Worth: Mary looks like she has acid indigestion in the second panel and wouldn’t they be more comfortable talking inside where it is air conditioned?Mary Trail: Rusty is having signs of remorse of what he has done.

REX MORGAN: Yes, I too would like to know what a 10:41 is.

APT3G: I think that LuAnn is more comfortable with Cole than with the governor.

    MARY WORTH: Aphorisms, aphorisms, aphorisms.

REX MORGAN: 10-4 is radio code for acknowledgement (“OK”) – in other words,“Roger” or “Gotcha” But when I zoomed the RM strip, I see that Rex is actually saying 10-41 (& I don’t have a clue what 10-41 means). JUDGE PARKER: That’s an odd look on April’s face in the last panel (her lowered eyelids make it appear that she’s prevaricating). APT 3-5: @Arye – I agree.

Rex Morgan – I Googled it and got several answers.1) Beginning duty2) Fire3) Bridge outHowever, I used to be a chaplain in a hospital and I learned that hospital codes can vary from one hospital to another.

Mandrake – What fire?Phantom – Did they have parachutes in WW-1?Mark Trail – Poor widdle otters!Judge Parker – Oh, right, sure. Uh-huh.

Judge Parker – Things happen – to other people. She’s more or less behind the scenes.Rex Morgan – Hospitals on TV seem to have the same codes – “Code Red”. I assumed this was something like that.

Rex Morgan: Over on Daily Ink, one commenter said 10-41 meant a heart attack and another said FDNY uses that code for a suspicious fire. I don’t think the FDNY one appies in this case……JP: April is looking down and to the left in that last panel. She’s lying!Phantom Again, according to a commenter at Daily Ink, parachutes were issued to aerial observers in WWI. The chutes were attached to the basket and when the man jumped, the chute opened automatically. (They were not issued to pilots for fear that they would bail out at the first sign of attack and thus not fight.)

Foxtrot I love the way the fireflies are spelling “Ha Ha” in the English strip and “Ja Ja” in the Spanish one.

MW- ( I ask the same question as yesterday) How did he leave Earth?????

JP- Wonder how Kathy is doing at the “SLOTS” :-)
