“… but they place all the blame on GOP.”It’s not placing blame point out that it was originally conceived by the conservative Heritage Foundation, championed by conservative Bob Dole during his presidential campaign, and signed into state law by Mitt Romney. Those are facts.
You don’t like facts but I’m gonna provide them to you anyway. This website will give you all the versions of the bill. Happy reading (assuming you read)!!!
Onguard doesn’t need to read to know that his hates Obama. Facts, shmacts. It’s the only motivating force behind his entire existence, based on his posts here. Oh, and Obamacare is far from heading for a train wreck. When the poor red-state residents, whose GOP nihilists turned down Medicare, see how much better blue states are doing, how much cheaper insurance is there, and how many people are getting coverage; there’s going to be a price to be paid for this bitter, spite-filled, self-sabotage.
Republicans wrote a lot of those pages into a too lengthy, and imperfect law, to make sure it was. As to “veto power”, it’s amazing that conservatives keep thinking Obama has a Congress like “W” had, that would actually cooperate on any issue. If Democrats had behaved like Republicans today, the best thing we can say is that we’d never have invaded Iraq.
I agree with you, David, that we would have been better servd by a single payer health care system than the the supposed ‘affordable’ care act which feeds into the greedy middle men of insurance and big pharma.

All the warning lights are RED. The problems arise from all the ‘compromises’ and watering-down by the insurance-industry-funded members of Congress.
