Wasn’t there a recent news report about NYC police illegally accessing NSA data to check on their own wives and fellow officers? Perhaps with the intent of arranging a “hit”? The real danger in all this surveillance is the accumulated data falling into the hands of disreputable “authorities”!
The people who say that they have nothing to hide so why should they care, and the people who say that they don’t mind giving up a little (it is not a little-they will take all of it if we let them) privacy for the illusion of security remind of the story about Germans in the 1930s. First they came for the Jews and I said nothing, then they came for the Gypsies and I said nothing and so forth and when they came for me there was no one left to say anything. BTW, if you believe that the government is protecting you or me you need to get a clue. They are protecting the rich and powerful and their assets and letting a little dribble down on us because it’s unavoidable.
Now we know to what use Drones within U.S. airspace are put. They detect when a current U.S. citzen either disparages or intends to disparage the Government and electronically revokes that citzen’s passport! Neat huh?
REALITY CHECK-————You’ve bought into the sheeple propaganda that the government wants everyone to believe. The principles of the Bill of Rights and the U.S. Constitution are the Supreme Law of the Land. You’re willing to give up all your rights to be “safe”? Guess what – you ain’t getting out of this world alive. Why would you want to live in fear for the duration?.“The best way to take control over a people and control them utterly is to take a little of their freedom at a time, to erode rights by a thousand tiny and almost imperceptible reductions. In this way the people will not see those rights and freedoms being removed until past the point at which these changes cannot be reversed.” Do you know who uttered those words? Look it up.

The time to object was years ago. When the Patriot Act was first proposed. It’s too late now. They have that power, and they won’t give it up.

I’m not “afraid” of the airport security, more like “resentful”.
