It’s metafunk.

over already? Im going to miss Sue and Lake Monster. We barely got to know them. We don’t know the lake monster’s name or gender, we don’t know about Sue other then she’s weird and some times creeps Pheebs out. We don’t know her reaction to unicorns or the name of the cello girl or the saxophone kid and we didn’t get to road marshmallows and tell ghost stories or ride a zip line. We didn’t even get to see the Jazz teacher again or see more of the counselor who looked like she had an interesting story. It was a fun week. I always love seeing new characters. It would be so easy to just have Dakota and Max and Lord in camp for no reason other then Dana can draw them I really appreciate the effort to create new faces. A lot of times you get like 6 or 8 or so cast members and they end up in every story arch even if they have no reason to be there. Im glad Dakota wasn’t suddenly just at music camp. on the other hand I do wounder what’s she doing? Shes not updating her twitter that often. And what is max doing? computer camp? Mincraft live feet over youtube threw skype? and where will Sue go when she goes home? the city? the farm? does she live near or far from Phoebe? Does she hang out with creatures? does she have weird memento collections? So many things I just want to know. Well Hope Dad enjoined his cereal while he could. Hope the store didn’t run out of his brand the one week Phoebe was away.

As an old clarinet player myself, this one made me smile — and even get nostalgic about clarinet swabs. I never liked the material the swabs I bought were made of — not absorbent enough. So I cut up an old cotton T-shirt and made swabs out of the pieces. They worked great, way better than those store-bought things.

I like her.

I love the horns and woodwinds, but they do some pretty gross stuff up on stage.

Sounds like she got paired with someone appropriate.

Dana must have gotten bored and ended this story line sooner than she could have.

…or its just an introduction to some recurring characters?

I was hoping Phoebe would meet the lake monster.

I just recently started reading the old Ozy & Millie strips and it is just as cute as this one. Dana, I love your work!

This seems like a very abrupt end to what looked like the start of a great story arc.
