For some reason Peppermint Patty has always reminded me of Janey the “scientist” from the original book of Harriet the Spy.

Lucy has asked the wrong guy for a kiss on the nose all this time. She just should have asked CB, instead, to get one.

I can’t recall Charlie Brown kissing anybody before this…but it’s hard to remember everything in almost fifty years of strips…

Um, as a redhead, albeit a bottle redhead, I can reassure you her hair is brown. Maybe reddish brown, but she’s NOT a redhead!

I remember how this game turned out. It remains iconic to me as a baseball score. It also inspires the best and the most wishy-washy Charlie Brown line ever.
