Don’t forget to refresh!

That’s exactly what’s been happening around here for the last month, or so. They change the forecast, then change it again. And they still don’t get it right.

You know, you CAN look at the sky, right?

It concerns me humans are relying too much on computers..We even have cars that will parallel park for you.If you can’t parallel park, you shouldn’t be driving.

I depend on the WAPP (channel 4 in DFW area) for a more accurate radar.

I never learned to parallel park, nor have I ever need to parallel park. Get over yourself. Sheesh.

Sigh. It’s already been quite the morning here.

JoeStoppinghem: Agree. I know one woman who literally can’t head-in park without resting over the lines.

Where does Janis live that it’s only 72? In Baltimore, it’s 9:30 and 90-F.

I also understand that during a transitional season there is more instability (chaos), and that makes predicting extremely difficult. But I travel by bike, and this is effectively keeping me home-bound. :-(

Parallel parking is a skill that everyone should develop, even if they will never use it. It is simply an exercise in vehicle control. And, besides, it is a good feeling of accomplishment when you succeed. (Especially if you get it right the first time!)

I worked at a radio station that had a prediction of partly cloudy for the next day. When I went to work that day, there was an inch of snow on the ground. I apologized saying big government was to blame…when I left the house, there was an inch of partly cloudy on the drive.

I live in FlorryDUH! and actually requested an ice scraper for Christmas from my friends back north a few years ago. Got tired of waking up and extra hour early and using my credit cards and work ID to clear off the windows when we had the more-than-occasional frost a couple of winters ago. I received three ice scrapers (one in a fleece-lined Santa Claus glove) and lo and behold, no ice that season. The next year, I ended up giving my neighbors two of the ice scrapers (I kept Santa mitt), and my warm Buffalo Bills jacket did not go into the storage unit until April when it finally warmed up above the 50s: normally, it hibernates at the end of January when we get back into the 60s and 70s. Weird, weird weather and climate over the last many years.

As of about two weeks ago, my cell phone started showing OLD weather data, and required a refresh to get caught up.Janis’ phone is showing sunny and 72. Refresh showed the storm.

Is it just me, or is this comic just not very funny anymore??
