I LOVE prune juice but can’t drink it because it works too well on me. At any rate, Grandpa should have warned Nelson that it wasn’t grape juice.

Lesson learned. Always confirm what you think you are about to consume.

It’s one of my favorite juices, sweet and delicious!

I like prune juice better, but I don’t want or need the side effects of drinking it.

Prune juice mixed with Jagermeister, It’s called “A Hershey Squirt”.

Since prunes are dried plums, and juice cannot in any way be considered “dried”, wouldn’t that stuff be better described as Plum Juice instead?

I often dilute prune juice when it is too sweet and syrupy. It works well and is not as strong.

I had something similar happen when I was about that age. Came in hot and thirsty from playing. Grabbed what I thought was Grape Kool-Aid and took a huge swallow. Was my grandmother’s prune juice.

But there is nothing wrong with the way prune juice tastes – it tastes fine!

It’s the side effects you want to exercise caution about …
