I watched the moon landing with my dad on our 17" black and white TV. When he was a youngster people laughed at him because he said he thought someday they would put a man on the moon. An unforgettable moment.

I like the way that the “one small step” line is quoted in the strip. Armstrong has been criticized for saying “one small step for man…,” as without the word “a,” “man” and “mankind” mean the same thing. Armstrong has responded by saying that he did say, “one small step for a man,” but that the word “a” was simply inaudible in the broadcast and recording.

Careful, Brewster…You don’t want to poke an eye out!
