Is her mom still around? And have we met her?

Something similar happened to a cousin. Her youngest daughter was born on the same date as the child’s grandmother (my aunt). But she looks more like her grandfather.

My daughter was born on my grandmother’s birthday and unknown to us at the time, they have the same middle name.

I named my daughter after my late mom but my daughter looks a lot like her dad. She was born on the 21st of May my mom was the 22 of Feb. But I do have three generations in my family all born on New Year’s Day. My paternal grandmother, her daughter, and my sister.

I was born on my maternal great-grandfather’s birthday, 15 years after he passed, 4 months before his 98th birthday. Other than the beard, there’s probably not much resemblance though.

In real life, my daughter and my mother share July 16. Sadly My mom died 12 years before my daughter was born. And, yes. Very strong family resemblance.

My brother and his wife were looking at their newborn baby girl. Becky said, “I think she looks more loke your mother.”Howard replied, “She won’t when she grows teeth.”

My eldest son was born on his American grandma’s birthday, and my youngest on his Japanese grandma’s birthday. The shared birthdays remain a precious tie.

My husband died on our granddaughter’s 15th birthday. They were close, so she has a very hard time when her birthdays come around. I tell her to celebrate their bond and know that he would be proud that she is growing into a fine young lady.
