Pit toilet’s OK, but what about the pit shower?

If the people who built the camp planed it properly… there should be more than one ladies room.

If not… time for Holly to phone and book a cab and head back home, fast!

sounds like they should have just settled for the Lake like on Sunday. A nice get away but not too far from home.

I really did laugh out loud at this one.

This time I sympathize with Holly. I’d want to turn around and go home immediately. But then again, I’d have never come camping in the first place!

No need for a sign pointing to the pit toilet. Your nose will lead you right to it!

Blame the sequester.

Jan Eliot lives in Eugene Oregon, you can get to camping areas within about 30 minutes or less. Hopefully the all have showers and toilets that function.

But not to Holly!

I would encourage them to use the men’s shower and restroom while I stood guard outside!

Holly will improve her sprinting skills by heading to the showers/toilets for campsites 24-48.

oh well, it isn’t forever. I just like clean toilets, pit or otherwise. And that includes NO flies.

Motel 6 is my idea of camping.

I do not blame Holly at all. She needs to come up with clever ways.

What a bunch of whiners here in the comments section.I car camped all over the CO,UT area without anytrhing but a chemical toilet.Sure a shower is nice every now and then so that’s what we use a 5 gallon water jug for. If you can spare it.Other wise we call it roughing it. DUH I’ll check back tomorrow for comments

My idea of roughing it is staying in the Ramada, as opposed to the Hyatt Regency.

NOT a good sign.

Oh, this is gonna be fun; just the start of how many things can go wrong during a “simple” camping trip.
