We were at a restaurant where the waitress had a phone and typed in our order then sent it to the kitchen. Pretty neat.

I agree. It would be great to see a picture of what you’re ordering. Some places have pictures in their menus, and some don’t…. Some have food on display, some don’t. I like the idea of seeing it first :)
