“Apathy” would be a good description of what I feel towards today’s strip.

Many years ago, Andy walked into the pub and said “What’s me horoscope barkeep, July 10?” So happy birthday old boy! A fellow Cancerian, and originally a veteran of the Battle of El Alamein! Jay

I’m so Happy, happy, happy!!! The vid came through loud and fast. I was hoping they’d fire off a shot at the end just to show that it was put back together right and of course, to celebrate a job well done. ...@BeviekAmarillo Jim’s Comfy Couch (Pibgorn and 9 Chick) site allows color, Bold, edit, and some other stuff and emails you when someone comments some place that you did. I concur on the Edit bit. Thanks forthecolors,mee-aaan...pcolli</font color=‘#088A08’> said, about 1 space villain ago

South Texas is like that when we aren’t sweltering in long stretches of heat and no rain but high humidity.

Go to north Texas where you can swelter in dry heat....@LinguistIf the enemy has beer, sapper Capp will undermine it… as in tunnel under and drain it with brace and bit and place an open mouth under the spillage, just like an old cartoon on the telly.~~~Once you start with the colors you have to call out black for the in between bits. Oh, well…

@Mikey jCheers for your improvement over today’s strip! The bug-eyed look as the kid beholds his future was hilarious.@Number ThreeToday’s “Wizard of Id” has a hay fever joke that you might like. Hope yours is better.

Today’s episode reminds me of when Sam from “Cheers” went to visit Frasier on “Frasier.” Sam was amazed at how good Frasier was looking these days. Frasier replied, “Well, you know, Sam, you weren’t exactly running a health club there!”

Yup ! I think the battery is not fully charged on that because it did not go long into the night. I think I will sub a full AAA battery in and see how long it runs for. I didn’t tell her I am getting those until I am sure of the performance and even then, it will be more like a surprise gift when I show up. Re the phone, from a previous day’s mention; I don’t have a land line, which is good for me. I take this one when I travel. A “home phone” would require a very long wire to allow me to stay connected.

Haha! That would be a burden. I hope the batteries last longer. Eileen will love the lights… You wait and see. Not that I’m psychic or anything but if she likes things for the garden then she really will love them.

I hope you are well today. I should be putting the ‘Kitties’ on my Avatar anytime soon.

They’re going to look very cute.

I’ve never used the word “dollar” to refer to money except when I’ve been in a country that uses dollars. Neither have I heard it used in the UK. But I’m sure some people do..We have pounds and pence….the shilling (or bob) went away in 1971.

In the days of Pounds shillings and pence in slang a dollar was five shillings 5/- – half a dollar 2 shillings and 6 pence 2/6

Y’all are blowing my mind with all this color. I have enough trouble just getting these cranky pages to let me post something. MikeyJ, your redux is as good as it has been, don’t stop.

Today would have been my Aunt Lavinia’s 107th birthday. She survived a lot, being widowed young, being a child of the Oklahoma land rush, being a Jew in a land of Christians, being female in a land dominated by men, being a flapper in a time and area where that was scandalous! Rock on Auntie, you made us into ladies, albeit ladies who….
