Amen. To something.
Free range verse….nobody penned it.
With free verse, talk is cheap.
Agnes’ free verse comes with a high price…
Non rhyme poetscomfortable in your lazy habitswriting prose without effortand taking great credit for genius in speaking
And rhyming poetspredictable and triterhyming does not make your poetry rightopen a vein so emotions may bleedthat’s what good poetry needs
What if this is a free verse poem and I just don’t know it?It better not rhyme or else I’ll blow it.Dang! Too late, I’ve already failed!I can cover my flaw if I just don’t hit The icon below, the one named “Submit”
Thanks Perky, and Hunter….and great to see you here again, Red!
And David….
You’ve GOT to watch for sneaky rhymes…they show up at the weirdest times!
You might think you’re writing prose.. When suddenly …. there’s one of those!
That pesky syllable at the end….with a cadence that you didn’t intend…Don’t turn your back…. it’ll be too late…Rhymes are always lying in wait…
You guys are crazier than I am:-) …and better poets!
