Why is the kid sleeping on her stomach? That’s dangerous.

I see they are putting Olivet to work at an early age.

@bevgrey, Have they finally come back around to that again? I have been saying “side” every time I hear back vs stomach, as side (propped by folded baby blanket) was the recommended way 30 years ago when my kids were babies. It looks to me as though she is in the process of laying the baby down in the first frame, could have turned her once she reaches the bed, and that would account for Olivet’s head turned on its side in the final frame.

Olivet appears to be on her side but she may be on her back with her head turned. I ignore the on the back thing, I’ve always worried about babies choking that way. On the side is best, I have 5 children ages 8-17 and they all slept on their sides.

They say alternate between back and stomach monthly but there is no definite, number one reason why SIDs happen. Friend recently lost her 8month and he was sleeping in his car seat.
