In my experience, one mosquito can and DOES bite me many times (until I manage to kill it) and they DO get larger in appearance as they fill with more blood.
and I KNOW it’s the females (preparing to breed presumably) who bite and leave that nasty afterbite venom that itches. I HATE mosquitos! I had to buy a zapper for indoors for them.

Nope, you only get a few skeeters with a zapper. You probably get a lot more of the other bugs.C)2 generators are OK, but you need to set them AWAY from you. If you set it in your yard, you’re just bringing them in.They’re attracted to the color blue, beer drinkers, dirty feet, they love your hands. Pregnant women turn them on too.You can wipe yourself down with a dryer sheet, that is supposed to help, and I guess you’d smell good.DEET is the best. But you can plant stuff in your yard to help keep them out, like lemon grass I think. Hurts their feet I am told.
