In fact, we supplied Saddam with the chemical weapons he used on the Iranians, then used the fact that he might still have WMD to justify invading Iraq. We’re supposed to be a Christian country and every Muslim country we invade kicks all the Christians out, or kills them.
Who gives a Fly’n F about Syria??? If they want to kill each other off that’s their business. The weapon of choice makes no difference. The end result is still the same. We need to stop trying to be the worlds policemen. Our resources are limited and should be used domestically to repair our economy and infrastructure.
“In this administration’s opinion, nobody is interested in the economy.”
And what is the opposition doing about it? There’s plenty of blame to go around. If you’re going to point fingers, please don’t be selective.
Fixing the economy means people will lose jobs. Granted, many of those should never have been created. However, job losses will accrue regardless. No one wants to go back to his/her district with the reputation of a job-killer. So no one will do anything. Ever.
Ramirez…you been napping for the last several weeks? Not only has the Prez. stated the facts, he’s being criticized for planning to send weapons…..and for not doing it sooner. Danged if he does and danged if he don’t.

The “red line” comment was foolish. It painted us into a corner, and he should have been smarter than that.
However, we have nothing to gain and everything to lose by supporting anyone in Syria. Even the lesser of the evils is still evil.
