La Belle Franglaise does not have that much influence, if any at all..Flagging comments doesn’t make them vanish, it just draws the moderator’s attention to them (if he or she bothers to look). .Try posting them again. and be careful not to press the cancel button by mistake.
I was assuming that Andy was talking about the team he plays for, not watches on the telly. After yesterday’s hilarious strip, today is back down to the usual level of mediocrity. I’ll check back later hoping that some of our excellent classics posters will post some more excellent classics!

There were old stains that wouldn’t come off with the conventional tub & tile cleaner, so I got after it with lye and a scrubbing brush. Looks pretty good now. I wore the neoprene gloves and a full face shield, to protect against splatters. -Ron called back earlier and is doing well. Said he was going to wash walls in one room, so far. He used the phrase “systematic approach”. Thank you loads for your comment. My memory is only good in certain areas such as yesterday when I remembered all of your family and the band members’ names. But when it comes to birthdays, anniversaries and days of the week it’s just a blank but only sometimes.-Yes my cousin does own his home.-I am glad you finally got rid of the stain. Apparently the Prof hasn’t been aware of the big shake up at Big Nate. She thinks the Cappers are rude!? After the TRUE troll was hopefully put down for good, the gocomics folks must welcome and be glad for the friendly people here and elsewhere around the site. Unless she thinks vial, disgusting gutter talk and death threats are better than people being friendly to one another.
I know of one professor of mine who would have said Bah Humbug to most of the diatribe presented to make us respond nagatively and therefore be in opposition to a peaceful community minded conversation…I always liked him but then I am a liberal and so was he…but I wont respond to the negatively worded commentary on our community conversations and words of empathy and encouragement and feelings of closeness and friendship….after all if this person had feelings of any sort they wouldnt be shooting (their mouths off) and ammunition wouldnt be such a problem that they have to scrounge for it in attacts that truely call for responses in a negative sort so that they can be used to flag the responder and possibly get them barred from gocomics. It aint gonna work though because Cappers arent stupid and know that is what the troll is trying to do. And wont succeed….Please iggy her Cappers…ya’ll aint stupid and we all know what she wants is a response that will get you barred. Begone Troll, we have your number and will continue to FLAG YOU because you are full of hate and hubris and we arent.

I know the original Vicar was younger (and he called Andy “Andy” because nobody in their right mind would call him “Mister Capp”), but I don’t know if he was ever given a first name. Do you recall if he had a first name in any of the old strips?

Hey everyone, just checking in. Had a real good fourth. Watched the special from Washington. Music was fabulous. Then I watched the replay of the Macy’s NYC celebration. Fireworks were the best I’ve ever seen but I couldn’t dig the music. With one exception, they took Jimi’s Star Spangled Banner merged with an orchestra, truly sublime.
I hope those of you plagued with heat will find relief soon. Here, we are experiencing Biblical rain. I’m conflicted on relief. There are those who have experienced extreme problems, one whole neighborhood is now isolated from a washed out road. But the temperatures are great for this time of year.
