Until you tell everyone on the Internet. You may regret telling some people that you carry a lot of cash.

Cash for everything under $200. Always pay card bills off in full. Handy for Internet and catalogue shopping.

A lot of places have stopped taking cash, it’s more labor intensive and you are less prone to robbery. And olddog, if you are carrying around 200 bucks in cash, rethink. Most places don’t take checks either. Money is going the way of the Dodo, too expensive to print, and bulky to boot.

We’ve stopped taking pennies here in Canada. Now we just round up or round down to the nearest nickle.

I have a plastic money card from my bank. no fees and easy to use. just go to the atm and withdraw as much cash as I need. Don’t ever use it as credit. or for getting gas….

You can’t pay in pennies, because that can get overwhelming, but since cash is legal tender(for all debts, public and private), as long as you have correct change anywhere in this country, they have to accept it. They do NOT have to provide change
