Obviously a liquor store. Credit card fraud and bad checks abound at liquor stores. So they’re more likely to want verification of a credit card, and most won’t take checks now that debit cards are universal. Hulk had better chill.
I rarely get asked for my ID, even though the back of my card requests it. All these do-it-yourself swipe machines make it too easy for fraud nowadays.
