The roman “Fact” is fallacious. The myth that the Romans used to gorge themselves and then throw up comes from the misnomer of the “Vomitorium” people misguidedly believe that this was a room for being sick in. a vomitorium is actually a passage under the seats in a theatre or ampitheatre.

I’m not sure who first figured it out, but I know the same process is used for dogs.

I heard that the gross, stupid people of the failing Roman empire did that disgusting thing. meanwhile, their poor were most likely starving!

Odd that the USA is following a similar path of destruction.

THe top 400 or so, living in a type life we can scarcely imagine, like royalty, and the next 600 or so, living like the top, but with fewer mansions and private planes. Then there are about 50% at the bottom, the ones people with good jobs like to call “freeloaders’ and lazy bums” most of whom are the too young, the too old, the physically and mentally ill and injured who are on SS, and disability, and those that have to work 2 minimum wage jobs so they can keep from being homeless. And the next 40% living the middle class.
