Good morning, Vagabonds. My friend from Azerbaijan has arrived via Turkey. Today we plan to play Scrabble in Turkish. Tomorrow is the 9th of Av, a fast day commemorating the destruction of both temples in Jerusalem. Although my friend is Muslem (he’s NOT fasting during Ramadan) we plan to go to a synagogue of Jews from the Caucasus Mountains in Brooklyn called the "Gorsky (Russian for “mountain”) Synagogue.

Good Morning, Everyone in the Village,

Arye, it is good to hear about your friend. It seems that we in the village are a peaceful sort of humanity, and it is a pleasure to know each other!

I love playing Scrabble………have a hard enough time in English, and wouldn’t even attempt it in Polish! I only remember a few words, and wouldn’t even attempt to spell them. :))
