What do they know (or care) about proper etiquette with the way they act.

    Good Morning All

Mornin’ Leaky, mornin’ all. Burl is such a font of wisdom, is he not? Oh, and is this a re-run? Or a recycled panel? Notice the complaint about the ‘carolers noise’ on the To Do board.

They’re also buying fake icicles for over the front door.

This is why I laugh when people try to find chronology or continuity in this strip….

    There is NONE!

This one is a re-worked (or maybe just re-run) Christmas season strip…Julie sometimes runs a holiday strip on a holiday….

But the rest of the time, she pays almost no attention to the timing of holidays, birthdays, vacations, absences from work, or any of that.

They might be on vacation for three days running if she finds the right panels to re-use…or in Florida one day and in Crustwood the next…

In bathing suits today and jackets tomorrow…Though that last thing can actually happen right here in N Cal.

The Book of Penny Etiquette…..I think I saw that in one of those little plastic bubbles in a gumball machine.

The large type edition runs to 7 pages, an inch by an inch and a quarter.

    Morning all!

With Burl’s corporate etiquette I’m sure he’s been “marked” by Corporate for special career attention. Just like Dale had some special time off for meditation and retreat some while ago.

Yes, this MUST be from Christmastime (icicles and carolers) and naturally they act irrationally about both.

Last time I was lucky enough to hear carolers on the street, I went out and joined them for a couple of hours. I don’t remember now if that was in this house or my last (but it was years ago, so I suspect there). It seldom gets cold enough here to but folks in the mood for that. And assuming Leaky has a comment, I DO still sing although I have not joined a church here (so no more church choir).

How thoughtful, finish it if a kid tells the joke, but ask Burl he goes to a lot of conventions? I am sure he knows as he has been the butt of plenty of occasions where he told stale jokes or messed up the punch line and everyone just looks at him.

The panel is dated 7/12 and the copyright date is 2013. I’m going with a “Christmas in July” theme.

I’m just very glad they are out of the pool and not in weird tight black shorts like yesterday, that was too much!

Its like Christmas in July in Arizona, When it is 119° it only feels like 118° when you hear “White Christmas”

I spent one more Christmas and New Years back in the Midwest last year and luckily missed any substantial snow or ice, but I’ll stick to AZ. I invested all my savings in this house and would not get enough if I sold it (and the layout is perfect for all my art etc).

The only weather I miss is fall colors (I could drive into the mountains just to see some, but back there they are part of every day; I think I may plan my yearly visit for the fall (HVAC is not busy then either) unless there is some flooding.
