Commas, Rat! There’s a big difference between a “fun #!##! section” and a “fun, #!##! section”. I think.

I’m at a loss of whether to laugh, to groan, or to hit someone upside the head with a snow shovel.

One night I sat sleepily on an idling Greyhound bus on a corner in an unfamiliar city….

The bus window had a vertical bar that visually divided the sign above a shop window outside.

I actually found myself wondering for far too many seconds….“What the heck is Drycle Aning?”

It’s not advocacy. It’s merely a simple observation of a readily apparent behavior. The menshouldswear section would be a completely different matter.

    True fact:

Comedian Jackie Vernon’s original stage name was Nosmo King, which was inspired by a “No smoking” sign.

I sometimes feel like swearing when I see how tiny and out-of-the-way the menswear section is.

I can’t believe that nobody pointed out the obvious deletion of the apostrophe to make the error moot.

It’s all in the grammar; there’s a big difference between helping your Uncle Jack off a donkey, and helping your uncle jack off a donkey.
