If my kids or grandkid ever said anything like that to me, I would just tell them tough. I wear what I want as along as it’s comfortable.

I bought some new sneakers exactly like the old ones except that instead of using shoelaces they have Velcro straps. My daughter had the nerve to call them my old lady shoes. After all I am an old lady, what does she expect?
