Is it really that unusual for a leading lady to be photographed kissing her co-star? Tiffany won the audition for the starring role, over all the other girls at this highly competitive camp. It is understandable that she would want to revel in her moment of glory.

Tiff noticed the words were different. Remains to be seen whether the meaning and significance will register in herconcrrete cranium.

And the director is noticing the change, mostly because of "George"s references to Luann, pictures, and his sudden awareness of the time and place he’s in…. might as well even throw in a “fourth wall” reference…….lol!

I wonder if Tiff is too much of an idiot to understand what Quill is about to tell her. Heck, I’m not so sure whether Manezon is smart enough to understand what’s going on.Oh well, if Tiff ends up crying, I’m happy.

Oh great. Now Tiffany is going to cry and sob a bunch, then she’ll claim that nobody understands her and she only wants to be liked by people. Then out of pity’s sake, Quill will tell her that she’s worth something and she’s not that bad. -Which will give her a ticket keep doing what she always does.

Good for Quill! Even if he’s off the script, he should get credit for spirited acting. Shows he has fire in his veins and can emote. Tiff will probably burst into tears and out-emote him…lol

So nice to see Tiffany’s invincible self-esteem shattered by Quill with just a few verbal strokes. Ms. Manezon may not be aware of the situation’s details, but I think she’ll catch the drift of this exciting improv!Sheraton St. Louis is sinking and nobody gives a fig!

Don’t get all self righteous Quill. If you’d made this gently clear when Tiff asked you to the camp to begin with, then this might not have happened. You decided to twist things around so you could be with Luann at the camp without telling Tiff, so why shouldn’t she think you’re a little interested since you took her up on the invitation?

I think Manezon and Ann Eiffel went to the same charm school.

Good for you Quill. his is the first time I ever saw anyone put her in her place. Looks like no one ever \did this to her because it looks like she has no idea what to say or do. I will loan my steel toed shoes so he can kick her in the butt. HARD. Nuff said.

I agree with Gerry Lee above. Quill has to share in the blame for things reaching this point. This moment has been a long time in coming — too long - way too long -- way, Way, WAY too long.

Tiff has gone out of her way to hurt Luann, from past comments and actions to the latest photo. It would not surprise me at all to later learn Luann got accepted to Drama Camp after all, and Tiff intercepted the acceptance letter, or did something else to keep her away. Tiff has demonstrated she will go to any length to make sure she gets her way, not caring about collateral damage or feelings. Sooner or later, the bad deeds catch with you. But, this is just a snapshot of how mean, vindictive, and bullying kids can be. I’m glad Greg is showing some of this. I hope in future panels Tiff “gets hers”…and I DON’T mean Quill. After her little evil empire collapses, I wonder how many “friends” she’ll have?

The drama lady has finally fixed that crick in her neck that caused her nose to constantly point skyward.

“WHAT INVITATION? He came on his own”^Technically, he wouldn’t have even thought about this camp, if it wasn’t for Tiffany showing him… he messaged her that he would apply, and she showed this message to Crystal… He told Lu that it would be for “to spend time with her”, but he also didn’t make it clear to Tiffany that it wasn’t for her….that is, until now …… (cue dramatic duhn duhn duhhhhn…)

She wanted drama!

GO QUILL!!!! Knock Tiff off her pedestal, she needs the reality check.

Quill’s reply to “Did someone change the script?” should be “yes, there was a rewrite, now comes the spanking scene!” He then should drape Tiffany across his knee. ^^I don’t really think Tiff would mind that.

As been pointed out by myself and a number of others — this is NOT entirely Tiffany’s fault. Quill has to share in the blame. He has been meekly going along with Tiffany’s attention, accepting it all without so much as a disapproving glance. Not once did he flash any sort of “STOP” signal. He just let it go. So now it’s gotten back to Luann and in a big way.

That was a very cruel thing to do to Tiffany, leading her on like that — not to mention humiliating her in front of the whole drama camp.

I hope he’s satisfied.

Several posters have said Q ought to have told Tiffany gently to bugger off. This idea is a non-starter. Tiff is SOthick, egocentric and delusional that there is no telling her anything gently, and ESPECIALLY not when it is contrary to her delusions. I doubt that even the thermonuclear device Qappears about to detonate will work. I see the “Tiff will sob alot” scenario being played out….

How anyone can like Tiffany is beyond me. She is very unattractive (as bimbos are), unintelligent and extremely self-centered. She has no redeeming qualities. Quill is so much better, for a normal teen.

No, they are still on script.. Just a different drama…..

Tiff has the mindset of a stalker. Gentle hints wouldn’t work on her at all. She’s convinced that any guy she wants is also crazy about her. Remember how she told Crystal all she had to do was GET HIM ALONE WHERE NO ONE ELSE COULD FIND HIM (read Luann) and he would be all hers. That’s the way stalkers think. I know, because I used to know someone with Tiff’s mindset. She clung tightly to her delusions, and refused to believe they had no basis in reality. One guy had to threaten her with a restraining order before she would back off, and even then months later, she would talk about what a great couple they were, and blame others for their “breakup.”

Quill will be the one getting in trouble, not Tiff. He is messing up his lines, while she is doing hers. The director will see Quill looking bad and unprofessional, while Tiffany looks professional. Quill doesn’t seem very bright. It took him too long to finally tell off Tiff, and then he did it at the worst time.

“The name for that is “boring”.”^You’re right about that…. And that’s another thing in Tiffany’s favor… 28 years…. it’s a supporting cast for a reason….

Quill is the one having the meltdown, not Tiff. I think she will stay cool, while Quill gets in trouble. I think Tiff will still lose out on what she wants with Q but she will look good in front of the director. Luann and Q will still be happy together after drama camp is over.

Tiffany is trying to stick to the script, and Quill is going off on a rant. Kick Quill out of the cast, Madame Director, and bring on the understudy. Tiffany, at least, is trying to be professional by reading her lines instead of responding to Quill. She is the one who is likely to make it as an actress.

TIffany has been a long time character. Unlikely to be eliminated.

Ugh! didn’t want to revisit that strip, again… ==But, yeah, he did seem to try then, but in panel 2, by that point, the arm action should have seen a little stronger return in tone for Quill…. he did say just friends, but wasn’t saying there was no chance…. he did say “We’re not a couple”, but that’s just like saying…. we’re not there, yet…. slow down… what he should have pointed out then, was what he waited to say only today (our time)….==So, though he did give indications, he was not clear enough in his intentions about why he was there.. it only seemed to be communicated that their level of relationship wasn’t escalating, yet… ==So, in other words, either he wasn’t bright enough to figure out that he should have said other words until now, or maybe he didn’t mind the attention, as long as it didn’t get too personal or out of his comfort zone or until it threatened his relationship with the person he is now proclaiming as his only…. which again, is what he should have done, in plain words (I will never want you, I only want Luann, and I’m only at camp because of camp, and not you!)… ==Many a guy have gotten in trouble, and many a girl, too, for misunderstandings (general quote: “he/she said we were just friends, but they still kept talking, sitting close”… or “he/she kept trying to get close and hold my arm or hand… I said no, but they kept holding on”…) It’s important to not only say no, or “I’m not interested”, but to mean it the first time, through strong actions…. then you’ve done your part…. then, the rest would be on Tiff…. but that one simple combination could have prevented the tragedy in this drama camp…..

In the past, Luann’s boyfriends either shrugged off Tiffany’s antics. Or was flattered by them. No wonder she is so flustered by his reaction.

I also say that because he didn’t clear it up with her when she messaged him about the camp… Tiff is a delusional sort, but she was going for more than her “delusional dreams”, and also more than her rivalry… she was trying because even her shallow little heart developed true feelings for someone…(as true as someone like her can feel, according to many)…. so before they settled down for orientation (or when she messaged him about camp) would have been a good time for him to mention subtly, not when she was already “unsheathing her claws” to try to “woo” him…. If she didn’t take the hint after strong action, then sadly more drastic action would have to be taken…. but that’s why when “trouble” draws near, you’ve got to: "Nip it in the bud… nip it in the bud!*- B. Fife, Mayberry PD…..

Do you ever get the feeling the only interest Tiffany has in Luann’s boyfriends is that they “are” Luann’s boyfriends?

As I said before, Tiff is a stalker. Stalkers don’t “get it.” Maybe if Quill had punched her in the face, it may have slowed her down a little, but more than likely she’d just find a way to convince herself it was an expression of his undying love. As far as "encouraging Tiff——-him being alive and breathing is encouragment enought for Tiff.

Maybe Quill should have realized what Tiff was up to. Or maybe he just couldn’t believe Tiff was so stupid she thought she still had a chance with him after he clearly demonstrated his preference for Luann.

The audience is supposed to boo and hiss at the villains. That we think we want them gone shows that it is working how it’s supposed to. If we were all commenting about how much we love Tiffany stories because she’s a fun villain would be a sign that we are not living inside the story when we read it. She would be a failed villain.

Boo. The last thing we want to see is reruns. Ann can only come back if she has something new to offer. Not the same thing she already did combined with what we already have a perfectly good Tiffany for.

Unless there’s any implication that Tiffany was somehow involved in some “application scandal”, therefore leading to her ouster, and allowing any “rejected parties” (read: Luann) to have a role in camp, there would not be anyone replacing anyone, with the exception of understudies…=That’s if there was any app scandal, which would also endanger Ms. Manezon’s position….. theoretically….

I will never be happy to see Aaron with any character I like. He is welcome to live happily ever after with Diane.

What if Tiff looks at Quill and says, “Quill, I told you yesterday that there can never be anything between us. Trying to turn the table will not work. You’re the aggressor here, not me. We will play our roles and leave it at that. I don’t mean to hurt you. I like you, but we will never be more than friends.”She could save face that way if she was smart enough. It could get quite awkward for Quill if she did. I don’t see her being that quick.

Ann is a bit too concentrated to be around constantly. She needs to come and go. Too much of her for too long would take over the strip.

Crystal and Knute shouldn’t have split up in the first place. That was just restoring what ought to be. Other than that, yes, I say Boo every time it feels like a rerun.

I was trying to show the reasoning that not only would the application scandal need some help, but also connecting that with this: That understudies would already be in place, and costumes and stage marks, etc…. this is a real drama production, for training for professional vocation in this field, and only in a “sitcom” could such a thing happen… and even then, it would sound too far fetched…..

In effect, both things would be unreal, even for a comic strip….. especially the second thing…..

I never said Tiff was dangerous as in “Fatal Attraction” type of stalker. The person I knew wasn’t like that either, but she WAS a stalker. As for encouragement, ANYTHING is encouragement to a stalker. If the person they’re fixated on speaks to them or even looks at them, they consider that encouragement. Yes, Quill should have taken a tougher stand with Tiff from the beginning, but it wouldn’t have done any good. She may have backed off a little at first, but it would only take one time of him saying a polite “hello” with a pleasant expression on his face to make her think he was just crazy about her, and she’d be right back doing what she’s doing now.
