Almost every Sunday, someone’s phone goes off in church. Mind, it happened to me one Sunday when I forgot to mute it or turn it off before going in the sanctuary. I have a Bible app on my smartphone, so if I am using the phonet, it’s not because I’m texting or web browsing!
our pastor always asks who has their Bibles at the beginning of his sermon and to hold them up … over half the congregation now hold up smartphones and iPHones … especially when you can have multiple versions installed and cross-reference for better explanation … I think it is fantastic, though I still have my printed New King James version for myself.

If the sermons are under 140 characters, I’d go to that church.

We once had a 1692 service on Maryland Day, which the rector read from his Tablet. Talk about your time warps!
