    Hoverplayer.

Foley’s a f-up in court and on the field. Gonna be a very nice day for him indeed.

Perhaps Jarbo, et al, can sue for mental anquish when he looses them the game.

. . . or whatever it is that they’re doing.

I’m guessing that Foley was throwing to Jarbo at second base to start the record-tying (or setting) double play. In that case, the Tilden runner might be the first player in baseball history to try to break up a double play with a headfirst slide.

I wish my high school baseball field had bullet-proof plexiglas fences surrounding it when I played like Milford does.

Mop, I’m guessing it will cost them, unless Jarbo bails them out of this jam with an unassisted triple play once they walk the bases loaded on order from Gil. Foley had predicted they had a shot at the DP record before the season even started. I always wanted to set the record for most assists on ground balls to my left with less than 2 outs. In wrestling it was most beads of sweat in conference matches, but the upper weight classes had the edge on me…

MHS is wearing white, so they must be playing in the friendly confines of Mudlark Field. As Wildcat watches with a jigger of bourbon high atop Maris Industries beyond right field, Gil must draw on his 55 years of coaching experience to lead The ’Larks to a Valley title. Marty simply draws another sip and studies the daily double and trifecta choices at Milford Downs.

Once again Gil Thorp is missing, and not managing the game. This strip always finds a way for the Mudlarks to lose because of the players when the real problem is Gil.

Now really, was there any of us who didn’t see this coming two weeks ago? Now ESPN will have to cancel their 60 minute program on the only high school baseball team in the nation that keeps track of double plays by tandems.

Can’t tell you how many Your Invited I have seen. Drives me nuts when they come from the kids’ schools. Sorry to turn this into an English class.

And in international news, Parthia eliminates Chaldea from World Cup qualifying with a surprising 3-1 road win at Bit-Yakin!

They should move Jarbo to first base. He knows which foot goes on the bag.

6/19 and Milford is still playing HS baseball! The CWS in full swing. (pun intended)

By the time this story finally ends MLB will be on the All Star break!!

We’ll be done with baseball Friday or Saturday. Too late in the year now for the story to continue into Districts so guarantee they lose this game. Can’t wait for the exciting return to the softball team. Oh wait, after the broken wrist the softball story disappeared. Guess they decided to forfeit the rest of the season.

Well, with baseball and softball done, Gil and Mimi can focus this summer on the search for their missing childr — Who am I kidding? That horse has been well-whacked and beaten for me to continue.

Re: The potential lawsuit for Darby. I still think it will be discovered that the mature stockperson who made the display is actually Jaxson’s father. Knox’s pestering to keep the case alive will reveal that fact, prompting the father to sue Darby for custody since she is injured. The softball and baseball teams proceed to give Knox a gang swirly as Gil will somehow try and make things right before heading out for the summer on that “special” coaches-only’ cruise with Kaz and (for some unholy reason), Marty Moon

Choking and out of the playdowns again. How does Gil keep his job when none of his teams ever win anything?
