From yesterday:Where I used to live the ice cream truck came around playing “Send in the Clowns” you know the instrumental version of a Barbara Streisand song.People complained at homeowners association meetings, wanting to ban the ice cream truck.Some intrepid directors asked the owner of the truck to change the tune.He changed it to “Turkey in the Straw.”I thought of this 10 years later and 30 miles away when I heard the local ice cream truck playing “Turkey in the Straw.”
I think wildlife is encroaching on your habitat. Rockngolfer – heard on the news yesterday about some communities wanting the ice cream trucks to stop the music all together. Too much noise pollution they say. Sad!
