I was fortunate that my husband liked my parents. In the end, it was only moi he didn’t like; after our divorce, he made a point of hugging my mother when he ran into her somewhere. It made her day then, and she still mentions it occasionally, ten years later!

@Newshound41In reference to your last comment before the changeover, I did have the extreme pleasure of seeing Mr. Aaron play. When I got back from Nam I was stationed in Atlanta. I would get seats about five or six rows up from the Braves dugout for six or seven dollars. I got to see Aaron, of course. But also Clemente, Mays, Stargill, Joe Torre(he played for the Braves for awhile) and the list goes on. I have great memories of Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium and the games I went to. Thanks for reminding me that there is more to life than politics. God Bless you, Sir.

It’s a rerun. I’ve seen these before. Expect another conversation between Leo and Jeff

Leo might be the most likeable from the whole strip

Joanie isn’t perfect, either. Joanie ran out on her family when JJ was a kid. I am pretty sure that played a major role in making JJ the person she is.

Just realized the reruns all feature the millenials. Maybe Trudeau is serious about starting the millenials strip he hinted at a few weeks ago. Argh. My kids are millenials and they don’t act like that.

I suspect that a lot of us who grew up before social engineering would be dx ADD or ADHD if we were growing up today. I certainly never would survive the kind of manipulations kids are subject to today.

GT is apparently working on Alpha House, a new series on Amazon Instant Video. I hope everyone is checking it out. It is great! I hate to think that GT would give up on the strip to work on a series, but I don’t think that is necessarily the case. John Goodman, Bill Murray and the rest of the cast are all very in funny in Alpha House.
