I still use my 40 year old 20 cup aluminum percolator on the stove – I’ve used it both camping and at home, and it still makes great (boiling hot) coffee.It’s not pretty – a little beat up after all the years of various travels – but I wouldn’t part with it (I have two Gevalia coffeemakers put away that I tried but always went back to the old percolator).

Wow, Chemex. Haven’t heard that in ages. My dad was the patent attorney for Schlumbum, the inventor. Our house was filled with Chemex gadgets.
