And get a haircut!” After your kids hit their teens, they find your wedding album/prom picture/higschool yearbook and do the same thing. “Oh…cool hair, mom. What is that thing you’re wearing?”
Cicadas are lucky. 17 year childhood with no parental supervision, 2 weeks of sex, if not eaten, and then they die before they have any parental responsibilities.
